Hi Friends, Yesterday I have released latest version 3.5 of my IGIT Related Posts plugin. It was working well but I got some mails that it is giving fatal error like Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id(). So I started finding solution for this and finally find that it was not a bug means it was giving this bug to users who don’t have featured image enabled for their blog. get_post_thumbnail_id() will only available when feature image for posts enabled, So I have solved that problem by checking function_exists() method but in this post I want to show you how can we add featured image in any post.
First of all go to Post -> Add New , Now write your post and then check at right side bottom you will find featured image section like shown below in image.
If you don’t find any section like this it means featured image is not enabled for your site. Featured Image is only available in wordpress 3.0 or later version. So if you are using old version than 3.0 then it will not work for you and if you already using wordpress 3.0 and later then read from here that how can we enable feature posts .
After enabling feature post by reading above post, you will get this type of section while writing post, Now click on “Set Featured Image” , It will open upload image dialog box, So just upload image and after uploading you will see one link “Use as featured Image” below all details of image like image shown below.
Click on this link to select image as featured image. All things done. You can select featured image like this.

Hello Ankur, I got this mssg on my site after i uploaded your plugin to new version 3.5 Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id() in mojacrvenazvezda/wp-content/plugins/igit-related-posts-with-thumb-images-after-posts/inc/get-the-image.php on line 127 And this stops my posts to be displayed at all! Could you please send me version 3.4, i want to have this plugin on my site, but working :) Thank you in advance! Kind regards,

Hi , You dont have feature image for post enabled, tats why it is giving error and it is very good functionality. If you want to get old version you can get it from here. http://frd.im/i9MqjA Thanks
